Have you thought or felt overwhelmed about how the heck you are gonna get back in shape, let alone flatten your belly while trying to catch up on your mortgage or paying student loans?

Listen, we all have our messy journeys to deal with. However, one common thread is tenacity.

And that is very much true for Candice. A nurse who thought that getting her nursing degree would make her life easier. Well, after getting her first job as a nurse- pre-pandemic, those dreams of an easier life went out the door.

Between covid and her student loans plus her newly acquired home, she was starring at over $200K in debt. To top it all off she was truly wanting to avoid the weight gain as a result of her family's generational diabetes. After talking and facing reality and facts, a dynamic blueprint was created that would guide her to her ultimate goal-- Not gain weight and be debt-free!

Even though she had options, the facts were that moving was not ideal, and becoming a traveling RN just to get more money would not sit well with her personal values. And so instead, Candice doubles down on her work skills and personal development. It was what we call, Narrow and Deep. She picked up various shifts at other sites while focusing only on her 2-steps on the fitness-wellness ladder- Mental health/Emotional conditioning, and Financial Stability. The other 3 steps were to be managed but not be held accountable perse.

After 11months of grinding and tenacious work, she paid her loans, her house, and her car- Without gaining weight or the need for diabetes meds. You might be wondering, how the heck? Or maybe you are wondering how burnt out is she?

Well, for starters the igniter to her ongoing tenacity was to remind herself of Delayed Gratification. The other thing that really helped her was to see the impact and sense of empowerment in her state of mind as things were getting crossed off her list. Now, that she has acquired a new level of awesomeness, she feels ready and inspired to add and manage the other 3-steps of her fitness-wellness ladder [ Sleeping, Optimal Fueling, and Working out].

Candice can sort of switch from cooking with wood to gas to fast trackback to her pre-graduation dream of living easier with newfound peace of mind and mental strength.
