Think about it for a minute. For just about everything you are required to use your core muscles. Therefore it makes sense to work on it safely so your body can meet the daily demands- especially if you consider yourself an active person.
Now, keep in mind that the byproduct of this is your ability to smash failure when it presents itself along the way.
